Counseling Services – Counseling Services supports and empowers students in their pursuit of academic and personal success by providing quality care in a timely and ethical manner. Submit a Care Referral for a Student – Our CARE (Campus Action Response and Engagement) Team will coordinate resources and implement a centralized response with the goals of providing assistance to students and keeping our community healthy and safe. The MTSU CARE team accepts referrals and responds to students (and their families, faculty, and staff) when concerns for a student’s health, welfare, and safety are identified.

Multicultural Resources – The Office of Intercultural and Diversity Affairs (IDA) on the MTSU campus is an information, referral and resource base for the provision of support services to you.

Disability and Access Center – Serves MTSU campus by providing accommodations that level the academic playing field. We are also a cultural hub that provides relevant programming that gives students another avenue to participate fully in campus life.

TAO is a self-paced interactive web-based program that provides guided activities to help overcome anxiety, depression, and other common concerns. Guidance for Supporting Students including Information on Confidentiality

Center for Counseling and Psychological Services – a not-for-profit training facility affiliated with the MTSU Professional Counseling Program. The Center is staffed by counselors-in-training in the program, who are under the supervision of the program faculty. Self Assessments & Mental Health Screenings:

Are you or someone you know experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorder, or alcohol or drug problems? Counseling Services along with Screening for Mental Health, Inc. is offering free online self assessments that will help you identify possible problems.

Screenings are anonymous and provide immediate feedback. Online assessments that are available to you include:

Self-assessment screenings for mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and many others.

Relationship Quizzes
These assessments evaluate the closeness of your relationship and help you understand your strengths and weak spots as you connect with a loved one.

QPR (Question/Persuade/Refer) – Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – teaches members of the campus community how to help a person with a mental health challenge.
