The College of Education is moving to Student Learning & Licensure (SLL)

We’re transitioning from Watermark LiveText to the new Student Learning & Licensure (SLL) by Watermark™ system this fall (2024). Student Learning & Licensure (SLL) by Watermark™ is the online e-portfolio and assessment system that the College of Education uses to gather data about student learning and evaluate program effectiveness. 

Previously Purchased LiveText

If you have an active student account in LiveText. You do not need to purchase SLL.You should be able to access your SLL account using the following steps:

– Visit the SLL website: Student Login
– Click on the “Forgot Password” link.
– Create a new password of your choice.

FAQ’s

  1. Students enrolled in an initial licensure program are required to purchase Student Learning & Licensure (SLL) by Watermark™ upon admission to the Teacher Education Program or earlier if advised by program faculty.
  2. Students enrolled in an advanced-level program at the post-baccalaureate or graduate level leading to licensure, certification, or an additional endorsement.

You may purchase access to Student Learning & Licensure (SLL) by Watermark™ directly from the website, sll.watermarkinsights.com, ($139 + tax). Students with financial aid funds that have been refunded/disbursed directly to them may use those funds for purchasing access to this required course tool. 

  • Go to sll.watermarkinsights.com 
  • Click on the “Forgot Password” link.
  • You will then be prompted to provide your MTSU email address to reset your password.
  • Review terms of service.
  • Select the enter key code option.
  • Enter the 16 digit key code.
  • Click Enter.

  • Go to sll.watermarkinsights.com 
  • Click on the “Forgot Password” link.
  • You will then be prompted to provide your MTSU email address to reset your password.
  • Review terms of service.
  • Select the pay with a credit or debit card option.
  • Enter the 16 digit key code.
  • Complete the payment form.

In your SLL account, the “Timeline” tab allows you to access completed assignments from previous semesters. All submissions are retained on your Timeline in the order they were submitted.

SLL accounts are valid for 7 years from the original date purchased.
